Un-dam The Snake River!
The Southern Residents are in dire need of our help. We have already lost J-14 Samish and J-28 Polaris, and little J-54 Dipper will not survive without his mother and will likely suffer the same fate as Polaris - if he has not already. These whales need our help immediately or we WILL lose them.
Contact lawmakers! Let them know why destroying the four lower Snake River dams is imperative to the survival of the Southern Residents. You can find phone numbers, email, and physical addresses here as well as important talking points to include in your letter.
Please keep in mind that even if you are not a U.S. Citizen, you CAN still contact President Obama and Washington state Governor Jay Inslee!

General Help:
Don’t eat salmon, this is taking away the orca’s food supply. This includes farmed salmon is extremely detrimental to the environment.
Reduce water usage, electricity usage.
Stop Toxic run off. Storm drains take harmful chemicals straight to the ocean. Use natural cleaning products that do not contain harmful chemicals.
(Recently Ace Hardware began including signs for Orca Safe products! See Here. All the safe products are easy to identify and the advise written might help you find options in other stores too!)

Update to this post as of July 2018:
The Southern Residents have dropped to a low of 75 individuals, and two young whales are currently fighting to survive.
After the death of adult male L-92 Crewser, a young female known as J-50 Scarlet was seen with a condition known as “peanut-head”, and the young male J-49 T’ilem I’nges was recently sighted and said to be in poor condition as well.
(”Peanut-head” occurs when an individual has been without a steady food supply for an extended period of time, and the fat deposits around their skull have been severely diminished as a result, giving their head a peanut-shaped appearance.)
The most recent update on Scarlet has not brought promising news, as she has been seen traveling alone and having trouble surfacing. At this point in time, judging by how weak she seems to be, her chances of recovery are extremely low. It would take a miracle for her to survive.
Please contact lawmakers, donate, do what you can to make your voice heard!

Republicans propose bill making it legal for police to kill protesters
The Indiana state legislature is considering an authoritarian bill that would essentially allow police to kill protesters with zero accountability.
Republican senator Jim Tomes introduced Senate Bill 285 in January, though it was given its first committee hearing on Wednesday. The bill authorizes city officials to use “any means necessary” to break up a group of 10 or more protesters blocking traffic, “even to the point of costing lives.”
